The clock got there name from Latin languge and cloker means bell in Latin so the first clock looked like a bell.I also know a question and it is What are clocks made of? Well most of them were made of wood!
I think I know an answer to 1 question.

Mostly they are made of wood!
But sometimes they use plastic or glass.
I think I have an answer to two questions, How do clocks help people? well, clocks help people tell the time accurately. which clocks in the past were the most famous? The Quartz clock was!!
